-Measurement principle

The XAT-200 series process automatic monitoring instrument is a device that uses titration, colorimetry, and other methods to quantitatively analyze target components in the process flow. Through the built-in microcomputer, fully automatic dilution, titration, colorimetric and other analytical operations can be performed on the sample. The measurement unit modules can be combined arbitrarily to meet various needs in different fields.

XAT-200-Fe is used for iron ion determination, and the measurement method adopts TPTZ absorption spectrophotometry. Introduce a quantitative water sample into the reaction tank, add hydrochloric acid for reaction and heat it up. Particle like iron and colloidal iron are completely decomposed under high temperature and high pressure conditions. After cooling, add hydroxylammonium chloride, ammonium acetate, and TPTZ reagent. Iron reacts with the colorimetric reagent TPTZ to make the water sample appear light blue. Measure the absorbance at a wavelength of 595nm and calculate the concentration of iron.
